Merged two departments into a single technology, data, digital and innovation function of roughly sixty FTE, which created a new seat at the executive board table.
- Set the technology vision, target architecture and multi-year roadmap.
- Changed the operating model to agile product teams with clear decision rights and outcome metrics.
- Led the cloud-native transition, decoupling a monolith into a best-of-breed landscape with an API hub and microservices at its core.
- Established data-driven decision making as the foundation the organisation now runs on, including predictive models in maintenance.
- Built permanent internal capability instead of a dependency on external teams.

Value Stream Owner, Digital Airport Programme · €20m value stream, roughly 50 FTE
Set up and led the Airport Control value stream: fifty people in six agile teams, inside Schiphol's Digital Airport Programme.
Delivered Wilbur under my vision, an award-winning AI platform that forecasts what will happen at the airport eight hours ahead and advises on the logistical response. It made proactive steering possible instead of firefighting afterwards, and it still runs at the heart of Airport Operations.
Deployed thousands of connected devices into a live 24/7 operation, and introduced service design and product-led delivery at scale.
